Previously we mentioned that each class has 7 Action abilities. They also each have a handful of Passive Abilities, which, once unlocked, can be equipped regardless of what class you are. You can only equip 3 at a time, though.
Here are two of the Passives for the Warrior (there may be 3 or 4 in the final version):
Combat Ready is the other Warrior passive, and it gives the Warrior full health and a morale boost on entering combat.
And the Scout passives:
Critical Speed grants +1 Move when the character is very hurt.
Unlike Action abilities, Passives only have 1 rank. I originally planned Passives to have multiple ranks, just like Action abilities, but because Passives provide constant boosts, giving them multiple ranks was likely to be imbalancing (either because it was too weak at minimum rank, or too strong at maximum). Action abilities are situational — ranking that Flame spell way up may seem a solid choice, but sometimes you’ll need an area of effect spell, or an ice spell, or you’ll be out of MP and need a physical attack.
It would also be quite confusing to remember how many ranks of what support ability each enemy has. Instead you can identify it purely by its icon. Just click on an enemy to see its stats:
Naturally, hovering the mouse over any icon in the stat window brings up a tooltip with info about it.
